To take the shuttle you will need to show your employee badge.  If you have not received your badge yet reference the pick up your badge information below.

To use the shuttle before picking up your badge, you will need to present another photo ID when boarding and explain to the driver that you are an employee without a badge.

If you are taking a taxi or rideshare to the lab, both the employee and driver will need to show their lab ID badge at the gate.

If you are being picked up by a taxi or rideshare, it's recommended that you meet them at parking lot F (directly outside the Blackberry Canyon Entrance).

There is limited parking available on the lab’s main site. It is recommended that if you do drive, you arrive early in order to find parking.

A rental vehicle should be used only when it is more economical than the use of taxis or other means of transportation, or there is a business justification for the use of a rental car such as needing to transport large boxes of equipment you have transported with you. Reimbursement for a rental vehicle cannot exceed intermediate-size sedans, unless the following conditions and documentation requirements are met.  To read more on the Laboratory policy regarding rental cars

Rental cars can be booked using AdTrav via Concur or phone call to receive the Laboratories discounted rental rate.  

Please check your WPC and Berkeley Lab Training profile before coming onsite to ensure your training is complete and authorized in WPC. Your GERT must be completed and up to date in order for your badge to work.
